The manager of Paradise Landscaping & Designs, LLC is Jason Focht, a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech. While attending Tech, Jason earned two B.S. degrees: one in Horticulture with a focus in landscape construction and another in Crop Soil & Environmental Science with a focus in turfgrass management. At Virginia Tech Jason gained great knowledge in the green industry through internships and working at the university. While in school, Jason worked alongside the school’s turfgrass pathologist, David McCall. Jason was responsible for not only assisting in research but making sure that all research areas were properly managed. Jason spent several summers conducting research with David McCall on turfgrass diseases and evaluating new pesticides looking to enter the market. While at Virginia Tech Jason also completed a summer internship with Spring Creek Golf Course in Gordonsville, VA.
In 2016 Jason decided to further his business and develop a Virginia based LLC. The former company, Paradise Landscaping officially become Paradise Landscaping & Designs, LLC on February 1st, 2016. Paradise Landscaping & Design, LLC is a fully licensed and insured company. Jason is a certified pesticide applicator though the Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services and a Virginia licensed contractor to serve all of you landscaping needs.
